Glad to hear that most everyone (road rash award winners aside) had a great time at MV. I wish I could have been there. So now I've missed RAIII and RAIV after having made it to RAII.

I really tried to make it there but my "possible" ride, a 50cc on camp, just didn't look like it would have made it across the desert especially when the location of any available gas stations was unknown...besides I wasn't sure if I could actually get thru Iran in one piece...I hear they are jumpy about the US invading or something though what one idiot riding thru on a 50cc dirt bike would pose as a danger is beyond me...though since it was me they probably had every right to "be afraid".

I can't believe that Baggage1 got a ticket. And with all due respect to Rainman it is just as well I didn't make it as our rides would have been really clean if both of us were present as I am known to be a pretty good bringer of rain myself.

Well depending on when the next one is we'll see if I can make it but it will probably be RAVI before I make an appearance.

I kept telling everyone they didnt need to wash and wax there bikes because it was going to rain.......Ive been with rainman long enough now I know better than to waste the time on washing and waxing....Hope you can make the next one and be safe over there.

Well, to be fair Molinoman, RAA IV should have really been only RAA III.V since it was held only 6 months from RAA III. If RAA IV had been held the same time as RAA III, then you would have been back in time!..

Can't quite swing every month with the PO. I still have to inform her of my encounter with the authorities. I think D&D has their monthly RAT meeting at the clubhouse so I will be there. Can't pass up the free food and I have to check on your beast to see if there is anything else I can borrow from her. If you like I can take her to RAAV for you.

For those who don't know, Baggage and I both got tickets. The irony is, I had dropped to the back of the pack because after two days of "the Tail" my arms were tired from the darkside counter steer. I was pulling over to see why Baggage was stopped then saw two sheriffs in front of him one holding a radar gun. He ambles up to me with a smile on his face and said too bad you stopped, I'll just give you a ticket too!?!? I said "for what"..... of course he said speeding. I can't imagine I was doing 46 but who am I to question. After he told me it was only a warning, I asked him if they were giving out frames too. He said he saved us $5 because the store at the end of the Tail sold them for 5 bucks. They were really cool and were in awe of all the Rockets that had just past. I'm not too sure if they didn't stop us just to look at the bikes and the rear tires.

Whoever took my picture holding the ticket, please email it to me. Go figure...the two old folks pulling up the rear get nailed

I am starting to be glad I didn't go on this particular trip. Sounds like to many bubble gum machines out there. And I would bound to have gotten that pretty piece of paper too.
At least they were only warnings.

Seen em on horses, hardleys and even bicycles before, but sport bikes?
