Raced a RC-51

I ran into an old friend today he was on a Honda rc 51 1000cc vtwin sportbike, of course he said we have to go run them,my rocket is an 07 1350 miles now completely stock!!from a rolling start in 1st gear we stayed side by in 1st and 2nd gear,then 3rd came and he pulled away by maybe 4 or 5 bikes then stayed there not gaining anymore up to 110 mph or so.So I was proud that the ole Triumph did well pretty well,Im ready to do some mods now !!!!!

You should have been able to take him off the line.
Get some more miles on it,
then hand him his ass.
Of course, once his powerband kicks in,
he'll hand you yours..
Hey, it's all part of the game,
you have to know where "your" strength is and race accordingly.
First 1/8 mile from a standing start is all you...
ask for a "do over"..
