RAA: Wet Leather edition (PNW)

We went up to Leavenworth in early March and had a good experience at the Evergreen Inn

http://www.evergreeninn.com/

It would probably be great for small groups. They were plenty friendly. The rooms were nice but nothing amazing - it's not a fancy resort.

Glad to see you back, I wuz worried!!! ;)

Depending on the people, and what they want to spend, the prices there are all over the place. When the wife and I go up, we try to stay close to downtown, she shops, I tag along. :D

I am thinking of trying to put together a RAA for the Pacific Northwest.

I am thinking Leavenworth, Washington.

Probably August or September timeframe (2013).

Anyone maybe interested?

valkraider,
Good on ya & Hell Yeah!!! I be in with the exception of Sep 28-29, as I be already committed to the Reno Street Vibrations rally.

I have done several motor events in Leavenworth. Cute tourist town - not especially biker group friendly. I have also done many in Wenatchee, only 22 miles to the SE. More biker friendly, larger town, more rooms = cheaper, less gray hairs and warmer climate. Ditto plus even more than Wenatchee is Yakima - Union Gap, which is close to awesome Chinook Pass & White pass, Mt. Rainier rides. I could even possibly help you out if you wish as I have friends - a former Mayor and a former head of Chamber of Commerce for Union Gap.

Just giving input here. I will attend any RAA put on in the NW. I REALLY enjoyed the .com get together in Packwood. Meeting face to face with cyber space friends is indeed a gas.

Where ya hail from, valkraider?
Best Regards,

Just had a eureka moment...or maybe it was just gas...but who's up for an iron butt from RAA Texas to the Wet leather edition? We could coordinate dates such that we could do one or the other first and then head out as a pack to the next one. Anybody? Where the hell is that cricket sound coming from?

I'm down with Winatchee as well. But I don't know anything about it as I have only passed by....

I'm down in Portland...

My goal is to keep it close enough to the Portland and Seattle areas that people can make it in a long weekend. Our mountains give us great riding but any of the events seem to really happen on the other side of the country - across a long flat super-slab. :)

Bad news. I may have to bail on any activities this year.

My wife went down a couple weeks ago (mechanical failure - she is reasonably OK, gratefully nothing super major and she is healing) and as such we are a bike short, and even might need to sell my R3T to pay some bills depending on how the claims or potential liabilities shake up...

Cheers, and you all enjoy the summer!

Just for cool factor, in her first "get off" she managed to low side AND high side.

Also - wear your helmets kids!

Also, if they don't fix Tapatalk support I probably won't check this forum at all much. I don't use my desktop computer enough anymore...

I use my tablet and do not use tapatalk. Never had an issue getting information from the great group of knowledgeable people here and those I have met in person at my two RAA. I might leave because there is not another RAA next week:)
