No backrest....rear cowl on pillion portion of seat. We planned to keep daily mileage to 400 max.
The ergo's on that bike put you fairly upright.....a relaxed 'sport-touring' position.
I find that I get a bit squirmy after a long stretch of interstate riding....you are sort of leaning forward against the wind, which takes the pressure off your arms.
Twisties are great....very comfortable for me when I'm ri
ding curvy 2-lanes. On the way home, I did a 180+ mile twisty stretch on one tank, non-stop for nearly 3 1/2 hours.
This was a "boys only" solo trip. 2 guys from Adirondack region & 2 from NC & me.
An adventure it was.....cold & wet weather left some challenging road conditions, a small get-off (not me), I also switched bikes for a bit and rode my buddy's Guzzi Griso a bit.....
Getting new front tire & 10,000 mi service on Rocket today...then MV here we come.
