The bags come with a mounting bar and hangers to give you a lot of adjustment for position. I eliminated the hangers and redrilled one hole to get the bar aligned with the fender bolts. This sacrifices some up/down adjustment (which I didn't need).
You would still have front back adjustments that should accommodate the dressers.
Thank you so very much Rob and Gabbi for accepting us derelicts, with money Rob and Gabbi work work so well in accomodating Rockets Across America Rendezvous.
For this rendezvous, Id appreciate A route eastward, Steve
This run is about 180 miles and includes Wayah Rd (a twisty route with a lot of elevation changes) and some beautiful waterfalls. Lunch would be at The Flip Side in Highlands. Some more waterfalls on the twisty route 215 back to MV.
With the amount of people we had last year and the number I am anticipating this year I think it will be best if we stagger the ride times and directions a little and have multiple ride captains each day. So If you are familiar with the area and want to lead a ride let me know. If you have a route in mind let me know and what day you are thinking.... this will help accommodate the various riding styles, keep thing safe, and allow everyone to enjoy riding the area.
Tdragger - Can I put you down for the route you proposed ? If yes let me know what day and departure time and max number of riders you are willing to take.
No problem Jesse I understand we got plenty time to find ride captains..... Just thought I would give everyone a chance to participate there will be plenty other area were we will need help as things progress.
