Haven't we always had the fall launch in Sept?
Seems like it to me, but I could be mistaken,
anyway, that'd be better for TORocket.
Just a thought.
Personally, I don't care as long as it's not mid May,
I've already got plans then.;)

three sisters sounds good to me.
Count us in.
skip and Dusty Rose, 2 Rockets, 3 days.

Might I suggest that your host town be Leaky, Texas. It is at the confluence of the Twisted Sisters. Bandera is about an hour away.

As some of you know, we had a Rocket Salvo event there back in 2010. The host site was the Frio Pecan Farm. Nice 2 BR cabins in a pecan grove.

This event was also my chance to obtain my Iron Butt Association credentials. Completed a Saddle Sore 1000 on the way down and a Bun Burner 1500 on the way back.

Some additional info: Motorcycle Riding in The Texas Hill Country

That 06 STD with batwing on the right in the first picture looks familiar! That was a very fun launch.

I'd try to make it if it was no later than the 2nd week of September. Any later than that and the weather gets to dicey up here as has been mentioned.

If you and the other northern riders cant make it to this one dont worry about it. Me and Lupe are working on a different one at a different time.;)

Just so that I have some idea what to tell the folks at the Pecan Farm, anyone got a good guess on how many folks are likely to show up to ride the sisters?

Hotel

Me and my future wife will be heading out to the hill country next Monday, after our wedding on Monday. We like staying in Kerreville, then head out to the 3 sisters from there. Inn of The Hills in Kerreville is a nice place at a very reasonable price.
Her's the link www.innofthehills.com . I'll keep checking the post for updates.
