Gentlemen...I may have been misunderstood so let me be clear...we can go anywhere and do anything we feel we are big enough to do (and some things we probably aren't big enough to do :D). If there are some sights you would like to see along the way, or some cultural activities  you would like to engage in during the trip please let me know and I will try to ensure they are included for those that wish to participate. The good thing about this part of Texas is that the trip can pretty much be as wild or as mild as the group chooses. This general area sees a LOT of motorcycle traffic when riding conditions are good and is pretty well versed in entertaining bikers.

I am thinking of stuff like from the 2 Hangover movies. :D:cool:

It would be hard, if not impossible to do a 3 Sisters weekend AND anything in the Big Bend area. They are simply too far apart. That would require two events to cover.. which, is cool. :)

This place is right in Leakey Home , right there ready to take on the Twisted Sisters loop.. There are also these.. Fredericksburg TX Motorcycle friendly B&B 830-997-2205 and The Legends Inn - Motorcycling & Biker Info for Junction, Texas and there are many others... The Pecan place mentioned earlier sounds nice.. Sure wish I would have made it up there.

For Big Bend, Alpine, TX has a some good lodging and is between the Big Bend area and Ft Davis...

Rumor has it that there is an establishment where you can put a deposit down on your bail and they will return it to you at the end of the weekend if you don't get hauled in..for a moderate fee of course. I may or may not be distantly associated with this establishment :D

WOW!!

You too? I havent seen you at the meetings.

I just noticed that it is slated for mid October which means it is unlikely that the weather will hold up enough for me to ride down. It could be warm and dry or it could be snowing that time of year up here, you never know. I could drive partway down, say Indiana or Illinois and ride the rest if it looks dodgy.
