Well, it turns out SWMBO wants to make a real vacation out of it. She wants to do RAA, then up through Rocky Mtn National Park and Estes, then off to Montana to visit friends. I *may* have to trailer the R3, you guys won't ostracize me for that, will you?

Rockets are for riding, not hauling Get some Gerbing and go for it.

Just jerking your chain, Montana and some passes on your way home may have snow. I am somewhat concerned about heading home to Northern Michigan in late October, but I am going for it. I bought the Gerbing and have my Aerostich, so it is worth the try. May have to wear my ski doo helmet with the heated visor

You won't get any argument from me on the riding part, but then again, I only have to spend the week end with you guys. I have to spend the rest of my life with the little missus. I am sure she would be up for a ride, but then I would need a trailer for the bike, and only ride 3 hours a day. Not my idea of fun, if you know what I mean.
