23-27th works better for me. A lot of times weather doesn't get good around here until july. Two weeks probably won't make much difference though. The further I ride the better the weather should be.

Riding Motor Since 1950
That's fine with me. If my co riding buddies want to leave a day earlier to come back home I would be all for it. I would like to spend one whole day at home before going back to work. More than likely I will be one tired puppy and need one day of recouping before getting back to work. Don't HAVE to I guess but it would be nice.
I've never ridden that far on a motorcycle so I don't know what to expect.

What an AWESOME ride the Rocket is!
You will love the long ride as I am right now. I am currently heading home to the northwest corner US from the southeast US on what will be over a 10,000 mile trip. Except for wearing out a new set of tires, the Rocket has performed flawlessly.
