Has anyone found any non-hid bulbs that seem to help at all ? I'm going to steer clear of Hid's for now as that alternator rotor looks expensive and hard to change !
When I die, I want to go peacefully like my Grandfather did, in his sleep -- not screaming, like the passengers in his car.
I recently installed the PIIA 110/100w bulbs in mine and they made a big difference. They draw the same as stock so it's plug and play.
They are a little pricy but imho well worth it.
+1 on what NM ROCKET says. At first I was amazed at how much the Sylvania Silver Star bulbs were compared to my stock bulbs. I almost bought them. Then I ran across the PIAA bulbs. Riding next to CaptainC one night, he was shocked at how much brighter my PIAA's were compared to his Sylvani Silver Stars. He is now running the PIAA's as well. The best prices can be found at Biker Highway. I opted for the 70856 H4 110/100W Xtreme White Plus Anti-Vibration PIAA Motorcycle Headlight Bulbs - 2 Pack The fact that they are anti-vibration rated made the steeper price a bit easier to take. They are worth the money. 8)
