This is kind of a duplicate post from the Performance forum but I want to hit as many riders as I can before doing something wrong. I just purchased a set of TOR's, my ride is an early 2013 R3R. I had a post from Mike188 stating he had put on a Ramair along with his TOR's. I would like to do the same. He stated that "Nev" remarked that the bike was running lean with the dealer tune, before putting on the Ramair, which would make it even leaner. Mike188 suggested I check to see if anybody has used a different tune that will resolve that issue with both the TOR's and Ramair mods. in place. Canberra suggested I might want to look in to a "Flipmeister". I have ordered the TuneECU cable from the UK, waiting for it to come in. So my options are open. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Call Dillon at Dobeck Performance in Belgrade, MT. 877-764-3337. Ask him about the AFR Plus. My results with AFR Plus made me a believer. Since you are also getting the TuneECU cable you can optimize the ECU tune for even more. PM me and I'll give you all the details. You can also read my long post when I compared 2 Rockets with AFR Plus and TuneECU last year. It is in Rocket Performance.

I am pretty sure I will be going with the Dobeck. Do you or the Dobeck reps recommend physically removing the secondary's? Or maybe a tune that electronically opens them. I understand they are mostly closed at full throttle. Would that not inhibit power under full throttle?

Ski, I gained about 20 HP and 10 TQ without changing anything else. Then since I had TuneECU I used it too. I would leave the secondaries in because opening to 100% across the entire range makes a power dip in 2 places that the secondaries closed down just a little removes. With AFR Plus and TuneECU combined I gained 21 HP and 19 TQ. As you can see the gain by adding TuneECU was all in the torque.
