Question about Noise while releasing clutch

You are a little off on terminology those 8 are called clutch plates on both ends you have thicker plates which are thicker that are called pressures plates. One of them is called the apply plate and at the opposite is called the end plate. Triumph might.call them by a different name.
That wear grove should not be there and that clutch needs replaced and that narrow friction clutch looks like it has very hot and is burnt.
Semantics, call it what you like it doesn't change what's going on here. Anyone looking at the exploded diagram will know what I'm talking about. I'm just going to put all the new components in the basket and be done with it.

I'm suspecting surface issues based on the darker markings on the steel plates.

Thanks for leading the way on this- makes it easier on the rest of us when we take it on. I'm past due, but keep getting warm spells here.

Sounds like you've solved the jitters. Interesting that some people with relatively low miles report this issue too. Something is off in the design for that anti judder ring to cause that wear, at least early on.

Everything is assembled in the correct order. There are varnish looking marks visible on some of the steel plates.
my friend who is riding rocket for over a decade,(and has supercharger on this newer 2500cc rocket) told that replace those springs with springs below, I ordered it already but I am yet to replace them as I have not opened clutch yet.

The friction plates have a painted end tab to differentiate the 2 different types in their respective end locations. I don't think they painted tabs have to be oriented any specific way rotation-wise as the inner and outer baskets will be in a different orientation constantly while in use. The manual only mentions replacing the disks in the same order and orientation as removed meaning the anti judder spring and steel plates which have a more rounded edge on one side. There is no mention of any other alignment marks etc as far as that goes for this part of it. I did not pay attention to the painted tabs when removing so I'll just line them up on the same row and call it a day.
