Purge Canister

The manual says the charcoal canister and pruge valve are on California models only but my 06 R3 was bought new in Kansas and has this set up. Just wondering if anyone knows if they started installing it on all US models or if my R was a California bike.

No and no, 49 state bikes had none, however, some 50 state bikes wound up in other states.
