Progressive spring question

Need help with the Progressives. I have the 440's with standard springs and they bottom with the misses even with heavy preload. Ok all weight jokes aside. Has anyone swapped the springs out? I have a set of HD's ( leaking) and can't get warrenty repair. Thought I would swap the springs. Any ideas as to how? I can compress in a drill press and thought about using hose clamps to hold the spring, but where from here?

I had a set of 440's and I called Progressive and asked how much to upgrade to HD springs and they did it for free, they stated that the shocks had a lifetime warranty and if I sent them to them they would take care of it. They rebuilt shocks [who knows maybe just replaced] and sent them right back in no time. Call them and ask how much....who knows you may get someone on a good day.

I used to bottom,especially on parking lot speed bumps, 2 up.

I got the 440s, 13 inch (1/2 inch longer) with the HD Springs.

I switched to the Progressive HD springs after the standard 440 srings bottomed out all the time...my dealer switched out the springs no labor charge...problem solved.....
