I ran the bike with the stock air intake system totally removed and it ran great. It still had stock pipes and a stock fuel mapping. The only difference was the secondaries were programmed to 100% open, and also physically removed.
This is how I had it set up when I shipped to to have the "TTS air filter" installed. In other words, it had NO AIR FILTER WHATSOEVER. I do not recommend this, but it sounds like you are putting the 3xK&N's on. I only ran it for a couple of miles without the filters. It sounded mean and it ran great.
As for the TTS Air Filter ... it is probably the best performance upgrade you can get. :lol: :lol: :lol:
I think IDK was just joking around, because the TTS Air Filter goes onto the intake to the TTS Supercharger Kit. It's quite possible that it is the turbine and the forced induction that provides the performance boost rather than the actual TTS Air Filter. :shock:
