ok as i said before ,i have staintune cat eliminator and pipes on my bike and on deceleration it popps and crackle bad, many people (great people indeed)said that a tune boy will fix this ,now for the question(finally i hear you say )i also have a 06 yamaha fz1 and when i put slip on pipe on i also got bad poppin ,i was told to block off the ais pipe (like an exhaust gas recirculation set up) (its for emission tests,it recirculates some exhaust back into the air box to be re burnt) is there such a sytem on the rocket ,can it be blocked off to have the same effect?

Zip there is no secondary air injection on the Rocket, it comes with a large cat box to eat up the unburnt hydrocarbons. The pops are caused by a lean fuel mixture on decel. The two best ways to resolve are a PCIII or Tuneboy remap.

Zipp,

I am thinking seriously about Staintunes... Can you tell me if the sound is closer to Triumph TORs or Jardines??? Is there a low rumble at idle?? Does their cat bypass have to be used with their pipes or can I use the Triumph Cat bypass??? If so, I wonder if there is a big difference in performance????

Mike...
