Hurry! Hurry! Get this pile of junk that I removed from my RACING R3 while you can!! No reasonable offer refused... it won't last long!! (just jokin')

Hmmm... now what did I put in that huge space that opened up behind my engine?

It was a perfect fit... an ice box:

No, not for beer (a la BusaJack). Mine cools my IAT below ambient.

How and the heck is your bike still running with all those wires removed and the battery?

I now use a Braille battery (much smaller). All those wires performed non-essential functions... that I don't need at the track.

What is it plumbed to?
Why not a flip-up top to allow you to use a block of dry ice?
Maxton soon?

COOL !!!
Say, how fast are you gett'n through? I guess its 1/4 mile? I remember you said you blew something. Hope your getting it fixed.

Hey Cal, how you been?

The ice box gets filled with ice, then water. The iced water then gets pumped forward through my neck-mounted water/air intercooler (pump on before engine start) and recirculated. The reason dry ice is not used in IW/Air intercoolers is it will freeze the moisture out of your intake air, forming frost on the inside of your intercooler... causing major intake blockage. A peek inside my intercooler reveals the fine air passageways:

A straight-through, ice water/air intercooler is INCREDIBLY efficient... less than 1/10% pressure drop. I'll keep you informed on Maxton runs... bring a bag of ice.

Maxton? I have seen pics and it looks fast. Good to see someone taking it to the limit. Still COOL!!
