Every motorcycle in this picture can't be seen in the truckers mirrors...

That right there is why im constantly breaking the speeding laws , trying to get out of blind spots.

you see @Wrecka !!! That is the exact reason I call you the wise one. Only makes sense. Ive been telling everyone how much safer my bike is now that its back from Lushies for that very reason! I can move to safer places more quickly!

Any motorcyclist needs to stay the hell away from trucks. The fact that they can't see you is one thing, the fact that they're prone to kicking up road debris at you or throwing a "road gator" at your face is a much bigger issue.

Though I have to wonder why it's not mandatory for trucks to have better rear/side vision systems. Cameras, for instance.

I took a re-thread straight on, on one of my vtx's while pulling a trailer, me and the bike made it over the tire, the trailer not so much... luckily I had ducttape, zipties and bungy cords with me and was able to keep going...

This is the reasoning that sealed the deal on me for me to get the Rocket (The fun factor was a no-brainer but the economy and lack of service centers gave me pause). When I'm on the road I want to control my space, and being on a high torque machine lets me get where I want to be exactly when I want to be there.

@Steel can testify...he got run off the road on the way to Key West in January
In the rain! Luckily there is a little shoulder on the inside so I didn't have to hit the wet grass at that speed.

Seems he should have been able to see me, since I could see his face in the trucks mirror.
