Peekaboo- Who’s Riding Today

I went out this morning to ride only to get a click when I hit the button...

Mine would be dead after a few days sitting. Never on a trip where I rode every day.
Here is what I only recently discovered after several years with the keyless.
When I exit the motor and am ready to walk out of the garage I click my remote.
Shortly after that the red light goes off. Been doing this for a month now and NEVER a dead bat!
DO not know if this is correct or what, but it is working well for me so far.
 
Got a fun screen cap from my GoPro, it was mounted on the engine bar about 1/2 way up the vertical portion of the bar so pretty much straight up and down and squared for and aft on the bike:

Just cruising up a hill having some fun.
