Thanks for the poop Gary. What are the effects if one has the PC625 and when parked it is left on the Enersys charger? (at home, off riding times) Does the battery retain enough juice while riding to keep up or is that the issue? Will a day of start and stop drain it enough that the charging system, assuming running below the magic 13.8V, won't keep up and we're back to might as well have a lead acid?
Did I just repeat what you said only I spoke in idiot rather than engineer?
Thanks again.

Gary, great post. Please continue on the chargers. I have two older Battery Tenders for my Harley and GS plus a Yusa tender which I purchased from the dealer when I bought my Rocket. I have a gel battery on my Harley (I think-standard Harley batter), an Odyssey on my GS which replaced a lead acid and whatever was standard on the Rocket. I have heard that the older Tenders don't work on gel batteries but am a bit mystified. I want to buy some type of tender for my daughters 06 Speedmaster while I am here in Florida but am not sure which to buy, or if i should be replacing mine.

G-man... Can you give us a list.
1)Best **** charger period for PC625.
2)Best value in battery charger for PC625.
3)Best **** charder for stock battery.
4)Best value in battery charger for stock battery.
5)Don't buy this piece of crap no matter how cheap.
Thanks

G-Man,
I ordered a pc625.
It arrived today, cause I was tired of having to jump the rock,
every time the temp drops below 35 degrees. Also the kicker was my stock battery doesn't seem to have enough a** to pump the amps out to make my new stebel blow. so did I waste $105.00?
thanks

Yeah Gary, bring it on. I followed 90% of that and was ignorant of most all of it. Had no idea the high tech batteries needed a different charging profile. (no more 'special battery water')
