I went out today for a while. Terrorized a few H-D guys. Running hard down Route 6A in Barnstable came around a corner and a jack%*+ had blown a pile of leaves out into the street. I was able to get to the middle of the road and slow down but that was a little hairy.
We are still getting a few days in the 60's and low 70's. I ride year round here in Idaho. That doesn't mean I'm out every weekend. But can usually get out at least once a month in Jan and Feb.
Going to be around 70F midweek here too. I'm torn between using the time wisely and winterizing my bikes or going for a ride. Nothing worse than trying to work on your bike when it's freezing! On the other hand I never was known for my wisdom
70s near Chicago the next few days. Went on an afternoon ride today with a few friends to enjoy what is left if the season.
Buying the R3R mid October when you live just north of Chicago isn't the brightest idea..the wait for spring will be a very long one, but definitely worth it.
The world series is over, and you northern guys are parking your bikes. It really must be getting very close to winter and it's going to be a long long time before spring gets here!
