Paint grey engine block

Hi all,

My early 2004 R111 has grey engine block. I'd like it painted up black, I think it sets the chrome off better. Any body had this done? I'm in Birmingham, England.
Any idea who might do the paint job or how much? I don't want a mess job done.

Any R111 owners meets coming up soon in Midlands area?

On the color chart grey is lighter than black so grey will go faster

I don't know how good a job you could do painting over the powdercoat without disassembling the engine.

I have an 04 also, and just noticed that my gray powder coat is cracking in places.. ugh.. !

Hi-Temp engine (enamel) paint should work.
cheap too.
