This is a great group and since we have our first bike in 12 years, the R3 is beyond comparison. Many bikes in our history, from Norton, Triumphs (UK) Bultaco (Ibiza), Ventura Royal and Kawa 1000 . . .

This puppy is something else and one seems to need to learn to wrestle this monster . . .

Taking a Superbike school at Sears Point in Dec. to try and get a handle on this beast.

Right now she is in the shop!!
Bought her three weeks ago as an '07 demo R3.

Gear box issues, changing down hard into 2nd sounded like a box full of screaming bolts. They say a circlip was put in backwards . . .
Drunken Englishman !!
This is Hatarmoto on San Rafael, CA (http://hattarmoto.com/).
Saddle days going by . . . itching to take my lady for a long ride.

Anyway, any feedback on PAII driving/fog lights? As a choice over the Triumph Fogs? (http://www.piaa.com/Powersports/piaa-po ... tions.html)

Would also like to have LED lights for indicator and brake . . . the bulb is so 8 track!!

Any sound files with the CAT removed . . . ?
Any sound files with Jardines?
Don't want to spend a fortune on music that does not resonate!

Considering Hagons over Progressive 440's . . .

Clearly many questions in one.

Take care,

Ketama

Ketama,
Welcome back to the ever changing world of 2 wheelin'.
Yea, I bought an '07 phamtom black, striped down model myself after being out of the saddle for a number of years. My choise tho.
I've learned alot in the 6 months I've been back in the saddle.
Most of it right here. We've got a good bunch of guys here who'll share their expertise and knowledge.
My '07 spent a month in the shop waitting for parts from the hinkley factory. Seems that output shaft problem is not all that uncommon.
Funny thing is, after the fix, noone has any problems with it, at least I haven't, and haven't heard of any futher problems here either.
Congrats on your new scoot, you're gonna love it.
P.m. me and post pics.

Thanks Skip . . . can't imagine a new car sitting in the shop for a month . . . at least we would get a loaner!!!

My good lady hails from Norman . . .

A sunny day outside . . . uugh!
While we await her return we enjoy this youtube clip

Will submit pics as soon as I know how to downsize the puppies and get my bike back . . .
Enjoy the weekend!

Welcome Ketama!
I have a daughter that lives up in SLO, so sometime when I'm thinking about riding up there to see her, I'll have to send you a PM so you can show me some of the fine roads to go riding on there!
And of course if you ever get down this way you'll have to look up the gang here in Southern Cal, its a rather lively bunch and I know you'll have a great time.
Dog
PS: As far as the work being done on your bike, I whole heartedly agree that for what we paid, we should get loaner bikes! Even if its an old Harley  just give me some wheels to ride!!!!
I only hope it won't take as long as mine!!!! 2 months to get her back!
