Snow forecast for south west England tonight, only a dusting but unusual for mid March, brrrr.

Salting the roads here yesterday, and again today, nothing happening yet.

Some flecks in the air, so it's trying to snow.

I'm with ya brother. Not a day has passed since November 6th that I havent thought about that stupid thing. We are getting close, any day now.

I used to live in Chicago and Grand Rapids Michigan, after the first winter i said to hell with this cold!!
I moved to Tulsa and is much better
After tomorrow it will be 70plus for at least 10 days

I'm outside of Chicago and the weather is killing me on every level.

I did take the rocket out for a bit Saturday but noticed a light dust on the sidewalks this morning.

I'm tired of running in layers though the seriously cold temps are behind us.

My bicycle has been strapped to the indoor trainer for so long I'm not sure it remembers how to balance on two wheels.

I figure I have a few more weeks left until the sun is out as a reasonable hour and the weather is a bit warmer.

You are right, i really miss the Illinois mountains

This time last year it was 73°F. Today we'll be lucky to break 33°F.
Of course 33° is more like normal for this time of year. Last year was a real fluke but I'd take it again. I'm done looking at snow.

Never lived up north... Putting your bike away for the winter sounds like a nightmare....

It is a nightmare
However it does give ya time to get it all clean and in tip top shape for the next season and they last longer if ya only ride them six months a year

In winter ya ride a sled if there's snow
If not ya just look at your bike wistfully with a drink in one hand and a soft polishing cloth in the other and try to have some paint left by spring
Then ride it like ya stole it for six months
Then repeat
Over
And
Over
And
Over
Year in year out
Man I wish spring would hurry up !!!!
You can only get a bike or six so clean

SALT SALT SALT -7C LAST NIGHT Only thing keepin me sane is that in 3 weeks my Rocket gets shipped to Long Beach where I can get her back on 16th May an drive around the US for a month.
