It's the 2012 Roadster with Carpenter pipe, factory ECU tuned by Carpenter and K and N filters. Not impressed with my quarter mile times and I didn't suck. So what's next?

1. Would removing the secondary butterflies improve performance?
2. Should I add a Gitpro deal on it? Can I with the ECU being tuned already?

Don't want to go crazy but disappointed in the times and power.

Mate the day prior to race you were asking for advise on how to launch .. what revs .. should I dump the clutch. That doesn't mean you 'suck' as you put it. But again it's practise at the vital start line and down the quarter. Again no offence intended only trying to re-enforce what so many have already stated.

drag times

Take out your secondaries.
Bet you will get off the line faster.

No answers from you mean no answers for you.

Why do you keep starting a new thread about the same subject instead of answering questions from people who are trying to help you?

Until you answer some questions, nobody can help.

What was your quarter mile speed?
What was your trap speed?
Did you spin out badly?
How high did the front wheel come up?
Do you weigh 120 pounds or 420 pounds?
What rear tire do you have?
What were your HP and torque numbers on Carpenters dyno?

Carpenter makes some of the best stuff on the planet. If your bike was tuned in his shop, I would venture to say that the secondary's are already tuned out of the equation.

Your trap speed is key to reaction time and launch control.
Quarter mile speed is an indication of power to weight ratio.

Spot on .. answering the questions that have been asked will help those ' in the know' answer your request.. it's not a matter of throwing more money or bolting some gizmo on your already pretty well-prepared bike.

I think bolting a supercharger on would help tho:cool:

tire probably spinning. Heard computer will close secondaries with wheel spin (not sure if true).
Couple runs were made. 11.97 quickest

And yes, Carpenter makes great stuff and have been extremely helpful. I'm am wondering if the primary pipe size is too big for the motor. My 572 hemi has 2.250 primaries and makes 800 hp with 700 lb ft of torque. My old 5.0 302 mustang had 1.625 primaries and made really good power around 425. I noticed the bike really steamed in 4th and 5th gears. I do believe that a 1.750 primary might be better or even a 1.625. I wish I would have run the bike stock.
