Now a former Rocketeer

Thanks fir the link Bull. That was awesome and appropriate. But it's hard to cry over your ex girlfriend when you're sleeping with a new chick! Unless she turns out to be "the one that got away"

Or you could realize after awhile that you had it better before!

R3 to Valkyrie, I kind of get it...
R3 and a Diavel, I get that... (in the video remarks)
BUT! Trading an R3 for a Multistrada; I don't get that one...

Good luck with your Honda, I am pretty sure it will last a long time...

Thanks Boog,

I'd be lying if I said that the 7 year unlimited mileage warranty didn't help sway me. Rock solid reliability and longevity are nice to have, not that the Rocket didn't serve me well and pretty reliably. I really just needed an excuse for making a change.

For our part, we were a bit "tepid" on the styling of the new Valk. Then we test rode one. Experiencing its performance makes it look very attractive indeed. It won't (quite) run with the Beast (what cruiser will?). But it has gobs of smoooooth power and is agile and comfortable. And Honda reliability generally being what it is, we think it will be trouble free. Congrats and good luck with the new bike.

We trudge on.

I have been quite happy with every Honda I ever owned (better than a half dozen) and my tracked, 828 snowblower is just amazing, too!
