Another North Carolina Noob...
Just signed onto the forum, and am enjoying reading about the Rocket III.
I haven't bought one yet, but the more I read, the more I like and want. I've been out of motorcycles since 1979 (last bike a 1977 Kawasaki KZ1000), and I guess I'm getting that mid-life crisis action started now.
I had never seen a Rocket III until I went to a recent bike rally in Rockingham, NC. As soon as I walked up, I knew this is the bike I'd like to get back into riding on.
Won't be looking at new Rockets ($$$$) but interested in good condition low milers.
Any thoughts, fire away, I'm listening. Thanks to all for the info, both past and future!

Welcome to the forum.
I'd check the sync on the throttle bodies if you have low speed surging. Sometimes that's all that's needed. Other than that, ride it like you stole it, you can only crash it, you can't hurt it.

Yeah, buy my book. It's cheaper than a new (used) bike.
