the pipes were so loud.......i didn't hear the FHP pulling our group over today..........gave the leader a fast driving award.............and after looking at my license and insurance card.,( I was second in the group, right behind the leader.)....................and NOT noticing i had NO bike license or even a learners permit. ...........gave me a warning for "following too close" :wink: I didnt want to tell the cop.........I was right on him....cause i was SLOWING DOWN to turn....LOL I had already told the group.............."looks like i get a free ride in a police car. So after lunch................the leader was a tad hesitant to hit the throttle..................so.........TA DA................i led em home hitting 120......and bouncing off 130................thinking.............."sure hope Jethro is wrong!"


P.S. fast driving awards are going for $180. US at that speed. :wink:

Man, I hope for your sake that I am wrong. I think you should seriously
consider getting that TB installed right away.

Jethro...................I did question the tech................I told him I thought the tune should be either 20150 or 55...............he said he had a new tune sheet..........i said bullsh%t..............he laughed.........took me into the bay.........and whipped through his sheets.............there in black and white on his new sheet........it said..........Triumph Rocket 3.......2007.....aftermarket exhaust and cat bypass..................20149.........i said WTF................OK..............it runs fine.........the decel has diminished..........prolly cause i know how to use the throttle now to control the popping............as long as i have a little throttle going.......not much pop.................it does seem to have a slightly different power curve.........pulls great.........up to 90..............then WHOAA.............as my dealer said when he test rode it.........pulls like a freight train! :lol: I was really worried they would be too loud..........and i would sound like those open pipe HD that just piss ya off as they go by.................but this is SWEET!! now it sounds like it looks.............................and to celibrate...........as soon as i can figure out how in the hell yall find avatars 80 x 80 at 6kb........im gonna change mine. :twisted:

nope...........you prolly sound like I'm gonna sound tellin' people about these Jars. :lol: I really want to do the triples..........just worried about getting caught in the rain...............even my friends that are techs tell me..........the only reason for the secondaries is so newbies wont flip the thing over on em. i like your setup Jethro...............i think TB next.................then triples..................i bet the cops LOVE to see an old fart with that getup............acting all.....shucks.....i was speeding? :twisted:

Yeah, I was worried about being caught in the rain myself until last weekend in Daytona. Saturday Maia and I were caught in a torrential
downpour and we road for awhile and also left it out in the rain for hours,
now I'm happy to say, no problems at all. I don't worry about it anymore.
