Is the engine oil used with the transmission? I thought the trans had a different type of lubrication, but I'm no bike mechanic so...
Anyway, glad to hear it's common for these bikes to run a little clunky... whenever it does it to me and there are people around I just roll on it to shift the attention away from the clunky trans/possibly inexperienced rider, to the beast aspect... people always notice the power of it.
