no power from ignition switch

I was out riding today for about 2 hrs and then shut the bike off at home for about 25 min. Then went to go out for chow and when I turned the key I got nothing , no clicks , lights nothing. I wiggled the front end and felt and tugged around the wiring to the ignition and nothing at all. Is there anything else or is this the ignition switch gone bad again (2008)

Sorry to hear about your troubles.

Have you done the headlight relay mod? If not, you can count on this occurring again.

Bigfoot, it could be your ignition switch. It could also be the connector coming from the ignition switch under the tank. check it very close. Look for the blue/white wire. Its the hot coming from the battery. Check it close. One way to eliminate both is to do IDK's keyless ignition. Do the search for his sticky, can be done for around 50.00. Do the Headlight relay mod as well.

..relay, relay, relay..it bears repeating..eastern beaver..plug and play..get the 3CS too, or perhaps even a fuse-block, and have him put the relays 16" from the light sockets..and thank you again Goth for bringing this to everyone's attention..fkn Triumph electrics..
