We left the coast about 9:AM today, and headed inland about a half hour to wait for several riders coming from various locations to meet up (@15 bikes in all).
The R3R was the only Triumph, with most being older Valkyries, and two Hardleys that brought up the rear.
The group rode inland to River Ratz on the Withlacoochee River for lunch (We live on the Weeki Wachee close to the coast).
We experienced some love bugs on the way home, but they could have been much worse, and we beat the afternoon rains home by about an hour. I have a feeling some of those with longer rides to the east may not have been so fortunate.
All in all, a great day in Florida, with the temps in the lower '70's in the morning, and mid '80's when the clouds burned off just before we got home!
