Newbie Triumph owner

Hey All,

Thanks for adding me. I just put a down payment on a 2016 Rocket iii roadster Matte black . I've been riding a Harley Vrod and decided it was time to try something new. When I test road the Rocket, I knew it was the bike for me! I'm excited to get the bike. Should have it by first week of September. I'm looking forward to learning and gaining insight of all things triumph from all you guys, newbies and veterans. Coming from harley with lots of choices on customization, it's been tough finding custom stuff for the rocket. Anyway still scouring the forum and hope all you have advice/ insight for me.

Nice. I've already been shopping for parts even though I don't have my bike yet. LOL . But I am doing the Shorty Outlaw exhaust
Shorty Outlaw Exhaust Triumph Rocket III Roadster. Hopefully they will be loud. So how do you like the RamAir? Do you have a pic? Did you have to cut the bearclaw? My dealer told me that if I install that or the K & N, that my warranty will be voided. Is that true? Also, I'd like to bring the bars closer, but keep it as close to low profile (close to the tank) as possible and idealy black bars... any insight?

Tip:
If you wish to maintain or improve performance, don't waste your moola on a shorty exhaust.
For that kind of money, one can get a CES, Reband or Brute header system, which are the best.

Hey Neighbor, thanks for the advice. Unfortunately, I already ordered it . Oh well, lesson learned. I do however, like the look of it.

Heya Nat67, Thanks. I think they are the DP outlaws. Cool. Yeah.. I think the dealer will be doing that when they install the pipes
