My wife and I are much the same Doc. Howard Johnson and Motel 8 is as low as we go. I always love asking the person at the front desk for a ground floor room so I can put the bike in the room.

Actually we did not stay at that place in Warm Springs Va. We just stopped to see the place and take a picture, there were many more miles to go that day and it was quite pricey.

Kudos to you guys that like the roughing it of camping.
