Just got a new Rocket III Roadster as well!!
Best experience so far was a conversation that I had with a new V-Rod owner who had almost immediately regretted his decision of going with the H-D. He had heard of the Rocket 3 but never researched nor knew what it looked like! There is just a strict dogma to the idea here that H-D's are "all 100% American made" so they only buy Harley. Boy, the look on his face when I drove up was priceless..

Harleys are fairly safe beginners bikes and it seems only first time riders are buying them.

The only problem I've had since I bought my Roadster is trying to wipe the stupid grin off my face every time I ride her. I was torn between a Thunderbird and the R3. I rode both bikes and was convinced the Rocket was the way to go. Enjoy your new ride, bro.

By the way, my Roadster has better slow speed manners than my Vulcan Meanstreak, which weighed about 200lbs less.
