new springs, what about the oil

have just had progressive front springs added to ride, definate difference. however dealer was unsure of fork oil and replaced with stock 5W i had asked if 7W could go in they agreed initially then went for standard as unsure.
any one out thier made an upgrade like this and used different oil.
i value your feedback

I have done this upgrade on other bikes...not the Rocket yet, however I have always used 15w oil with great success.

No seal problem just a good firm non-harsh ride. More responsive, I used Bell Ray fork oil.
