New R3T, should it be tuned?

On my 07 Rocket Classic Tourer I installed TORs and found that it still ran too lean with a pretty fair decel back popping. That is why I finally downloaded to TuneECU and tried a couple of tunes, the last which was tweaked by Hanso, and was dead nuts on.

I agree with rocketjohn, Triumph would have a heck of a time denying warranty work without being able to show that a custom tune caused an issue. The slightly lean TOR tune can conceivably cause damage while a slightly rich tune will only burn more fuel.

If I get that 2011 Touring I'll be in the thick of this again.

Welcome from Australia

Some months ago I was talking with Bull about his CES pipes. He had good things to say. How about you? I was considering a whole system on my R3T, think it is worth the bucks? How long have you had your headers? Satisfied? Is there any other brand other than Carpenter for a whole system?
