Hi all after viewing videos and what seems good feedback on the 2.5 rocket 3 . Booked a test drive all seemed well , and now finding issuises .
Only 680miles
Issuise 1 when setting off I get bad clutch judder .and spoils the ride off the bike when setting off ,
Issuise 2 my hill assent dosent work . ( actived in the menu , pressing rear brake dosent work ? ( and has had the. Rear brake recall done.
Issuise 3 soon as I de accelerate the bars do a slight wobble . Nothing bad but noticeable.
Issuise 4 gears seem very knotchy .

Thought I'd ask before ringing triumph

To activate the hill hold you need to pull the front brake lever in hard...to deactivate again just ride away...simple.
The bike shouldnt judder when you move off if your in first gear.
Check your oil level...it may be low. A fully synthetic oil will smooth out those notchy changes.

Dealers are notorious for getting the oil level wrong.
Start out on level ground, kickstand down.

• Make sure the engine is cold.
• Start the engine and run at idle for 60 - 90 seconds.
NOTICE
Do not operate the throttle while the engine is at idle. This will give an inaccurate oil
level on the engine oil dipstick.
• Stop the engine, then wait for at least three minutes to allow the oil to settle.
• Turn the oil filler cap anticlockwise and remove it.

I just think 94 with my old-person brain. 90secs on, 4min sit. 🤪

Hi powernutty. Another newbie here too. I noticed a (very slight) judder on mine as well. Nothing unpleasant about it and I put it down to the typical triple thrum. Have to say I haven't checked the oil yet as it came with a pre-sale health check from the dealer and it's still under warranty. I will do so though.

Thankfully, having owned three KTMs I'm used to the vagaries of oil level monitoring on dry sump engines.

My local dealer/service centre openly highlight the need and importance of carrying the correct procedure when checking and maintaining the correct oil level.
Advice to the many......Best not wing it, folks.........read it up fully and do it by the book......or find someone that knows how to.....It appears that not all service agents know how it's done, which is concerning.
