The first letter of the vin is country of manufacture. 1=USA, 2=Canada, S=U.K., J= Japan etc.

The 11th figure on my VIN is B so that must mean it was made for Bruce and that would be me so its all good

I know you like your paint scheme,
and the guys on red, claret, mulberry, whatever it truly is,
will say the red is a comparable color for a Rocket,
but alas, there's no comparing it to a solid BLACK Rocket.
I hope you got a deal on it, cause everybody knows, they use the second hand,
inferior parts on the red ones and reserve the quality parts for the black ones.
Don't know about the red haze, maybe some good parts on it, I hope so

If your VIN starts with SM then the country of origin is Great Britain. Thailand would be ML or MR.

Im going to try and get some pics up. Its phantom red haze. 1 of 7 in north america. Changes from red to black as you go by. real sharp.

I didn't think the Red Haze was available in the US. Did your dealer have this bike already or did they order it for you? I wonder how to find out the location of the other six bikes.

My frame is SMTCOOL409T381390 but my engine is 3375014 its an 09 standard built 09/08. My 05 VIN matched on both frame and engine.
