As for the seat .... I owned a R3T until I recently replaced with an R3R.
Previous to my R3T I used mustang seats in every bike I owned. It was my intention to do the same with the R3T however I found the long touring seat by triumph (with the driver backrest) to be exceptional. I could sit in the saddle until the tank was empty.

I have the corbin solo touring seat on my R3R and love it for different reasons. My thought is you can't go wrong with either. Corbin gives you a high density foam that forms well, mustang and triumph are softer but still very good on long rides.

I wanted to get a Mustang seat for my 09 Standard but for some stupid reason they only make seats for the touring according to the website
