Once Flip started selling parts retail, he became a paid advertiser. He didn't start selling stuff until less than a year ago. But once he realized where it was going he approached the webmaster to become an advertiser. It's no secret you are a parts dealer, your first dozen posts contained links to your site and you posted several times about specific items you sell. Heck, just look at your user name. I am all for those interested in selling parts for the Rocket. I didn't have a problem with a link to your site in your signature line however, it is a violation of the AUP and not fair to those like Flip or Shawn the webmaster who pays out of pocket for this site. And if it is not enforced we wouldn't have a site. And honestly most of the items you posted (ie progressive shocks) I have purchased elsewhere for less. I have put a lot of effort into this forum and will do what I can to help it stay for others to enjoy.

Would you allow Flip to advertise his products on the forum you host on your retail site? Would it be fair for you to go to the .com site and advertise there when that site is sponsored by a bike parts retailer? I will add your site to the list of aftermarket parts suppliers in the Rocket Resources Forum. In the mean time you need to decide whether you are here as an enthusiast or as a dealer.

First dozen posts? Re-read them yourself... I only submitted a couple before someone informed me it's not allowed. I only submitted them because I knew this forum is not supported by a parts company.

Yes, I allow people to post links for products we do not offer on my forum. I would never sell the products "flip" makes on my website.

Thank you. If you read my posts it will be quite obvious I'm here because I enjoy talking with other Triumph owners. With the exception of very few items we sell, most don't apply to use on a Rocket III or any other motorcycle other than a Honda VTX. And, to set the record straight (you brought it up, not me), We beat anyone's price on Progressive shocks! (except seconds sold on Ebay!). Our advertised price on 412's is lower than anywhere I'm aware of!
