2026 Triumph Rocket 3 GT Storm
Hello everyone. Looking forward to learning more about the Rocket here. I am rejoining the mc community after a 30 year absence. Purchased Jan 13 and only been able to get out 4-5 times due to the crummy weather here in Midwest U.S. Still in break-in (which is fine) as I acclimate to the feet forward riding position and re-learn how to ride. Fortunately, my prior experience is keeping me out of trouble while I regenerate my riding chops.

Welcome to the forum from MI. You oicked a good bike to get back into riding with. I have a 25 GT and out mid controls on it. Your going to love this bike the more you ride it. Theres times I've come home and I'm just like man this bike is fun. It can take you by surprise if you let it. Good luck on your new endeavor

TY. I’m in Indiana. I had a TKA two years ago which makes me uncomfortable folding my legs under. The feet forward riding position (which I’ve never had before) is great for my knee(s). I’m still wondering what hits the ground first when aggressively cornering.

Welcome from Round Rock , TX. I find the forward controls very comfortable for long rides. Easy position coming from big Indian Tourers. Enjoy!

TY. We need some TX weather up here! Have you experimented with your footpeg position? I understand they can be moved one inch fore or aft. I’m 6’-5”. Thinking about moving them forward.

Greetings from sunny North Texas. Yes it takes a few minutes to change foot peg position on the GT model. I moved mine all the way back as it was more comfy for me. There are two bolts that hold the foot peg rails. The brake side only requires moving the peg to the desired position as a flex hose to the master cylinder is used. The gear shift side has a link in the selector rod that needs to be adjusted to get the proper gear lever position.

I'll add to atomsplitter, there are additional link sizes under the right side cover for this purpose.

I'm 6'5" as well. I have my pegs in the middle. I tried the forward most position, and felt like the brake line was to tight.
