Never saw THAT comming!

Was out in the shop (shed) when the wife asked me to pass the air hose under the roll up door so she could spray off the lawn mower etc. Went back to what I was doing, the compressor kicked on, ran for about 30-45 seconds then made a slap-pop noise and the pump shut off with the motor still going. Darn, must have lost the belt right? Shut her down and pulled the plug, popped the plastic cover open and A FOUR FOOT LONG BLACK SNAKE FELL IN MY LAP. I jumped back, he hit the floor and headed out the door straight at Laurel who promptly set the world record for sprinting backwards when I yelled SNAKE!!.

Not sure how he managed to get in there but I bet it was a heck of a surprise for all three of us!

My folks uses to have to deal with water moccasins and copper heads in the oddest places..."The porch light looks a little odd out of the coner of my eye. I should investigate! Hmm, I don't remember that decorative coil around base of the...nope nope nope nope nope"
