NEC UK 2015 Motorcycle Show

Fact of the matter is, after being owned by a Rocket III, any other bike either feels like a child's tricycle or a huge step backward. I think that the Beast doth spoil and corrupt its Captains!;)

Yep Phil I'm only 5 6" and 125lb an everything "normal" feels puny now. I remember sittin on a Harley fatboy back in 2000 an thinking it was huge after my 750 bonnie t140  which I rode for 25 years. Even my Rune doesn't feel as big as the Rocket, until you try to move it!

If I wanted a ****** rocket....THAT would be it. It's almost mesmerizing.

Yes beautiful, but it is a bit down on power, only 265 bhp on stock engine with a hairdryer on the side.
Still we all have to start somewhere ;)

Good God... a Scotsman with such a motor collection as yours could very well be a menace to polite society, but, hey, fug 'em if they can't take the heat.

Man, oh man, do I love that Rune... a sweet riding and bodacious looking bike that makes one of the sweetest exhaust notes ever!

Don't like it..still looks like the run of the mill ****** rocket...pull up anywhere with that green monster, your turning heads big time.

Some are moved by form - others by function.
To me the performance and handling of a motor are paramount.
Now that I be old and decrepit, the ability to fit my busted up body is the main factor.
When I have that, tis a BEAUTIFUL thing!

I have a Rivco six pipe exhaust for a Rune ran it on the Rocket for a while, but too restrictive hence my lower than expected dyno readings.

and the radiator including the shroud is a cool $1800 (two parts) I thought of putting it on the R3 would have looked really sharp in place of that pizza box but the cost is just too prohibitive
