My new seat
So if (big if) I can figure out how to post pictures, these are a few of my '05 Speedy and my R3R.
New seat and pillion and backrest made in my shop. Main difference is that I took out about 1" to sit lower and sculpted the back forward maybe 2" so I now fit in it rather than on it. Firmed it up too, like the Corbin on my Speedmaster. 5 hour ride on Sunday (White Mts. of New Hampshire) and no more back ache. Pillion went from stock to 3" wider and with some shape to it. Rear back rest has slight shape, otherwise simple. Entire seat went from vinyl to full grain leather. Kept is all looking simple cause the hardbags I am making will be covered in the same leather. The hardbags are pretty much formed and cut from carbon fiber honeycomb. If I learn how to post them, I'll put on a progress picture or two.

You could probably sell the passenger seat no problem. I would buy one. Of course the driver seat is personal, but the passenger is such an improvement over stock it would be an easy sale to most R3 owners. How does the color match with the real leather as opposed to the stock?

i have a Corbin front, but would pay you to make a rear for me! pm me if interested.

Thanks so much guys. You all make owning an R3 so much more enjoyable. What a great group, really. I is a pleasure to feel apart of it. Thanks for your encouragement. Jim
