I will go today and see if there is any left, i checked yesterady and they said as soon as they put it out its gone, people know a good deal when they see one

So I just checked what i bought and I got the 20w-50 by mistake........I can take it back and get it replaced with the 10w-40...........but shoudl I? Is there really a difference between the two grades?? Any thoughts on this other than the dreaded oil deabte

Not talking different brands and standards....just if the difference between the two is that much that I should go with the 10w-40........which is whats in there now

thanks!

Don't know other than it would be too heavy, maybe someone will enlighten both of us

Uncle Jesse, i hope you don't live on main street Kentucky!!

Too heavy

20/50 is the Harley v-twin oil. Our bikes engine clearances are designed for the lighter 15/40 oil. Especially in cold climates. It's possible the heavier oil would cause heavy shifting and take longer for initial oil pressure pump up. Plus, the 20/50 oil additive package is not designed for wet clutches. The Harley's have a separate sump for the engine oil, vs the primary where the clutch is located.

Thanks fellas.....kind if what i was thinking.......ill return the 6 pack and pick up the 10w-40.....
