Mc Intosh County Toys For Tots

Just figured to throw it out there. Saturday Dec 9th Checotah Creek casino. Kickstands up at 12:00 noon. This run is benefiting the poorest county in Oklahoma. All toys collected will be Distributed to some folks who would otherwise have to do without. May not have all the glamour of the big run in Tulsa this Sunday. Very good run have participated in it for the last 12 years. Usually a very interesting group of individuals attend this event. Weather might be a little chilly but well worth the cause. Any Okies interested call 918-652-0298. I never give up.

They are so hard up in that county that apples would be appreciated. Lived in that county for about four years. Now in Okmulgee county. It still haunts me the poverty level. It is not so much the parents that I feel for but the kids. The idea of a kid waking up X-mas morning hungry and no toys tears me up. Can not set on my fat @ss and do nothing. I feel very lucky to be were I am in life. Very secure money wise and emotional. Life has not always been so good. I feel very fortunate to be in a position were I can help others during the season. Not exactly a Christen by faith but do believe in doing my part so a kid can get a square meal and a toy. Not real sure but believe that is what the season is all about.

#hit ears started to burn a bit. All joking aside, went to the local wall-mart and they had a surprise sale going on. Scored big time on some really neat toys. Won some money a while back at a casino and spent the better part of $1,600 dollars today. Wife is going to load up the truck because I can not carry all that on the bike. Should be a good day. Can not wait to see there faces when I and the wife pull in. Yea

One #ell of a run. Weather was nice upper forty's. Lots of people and lots of toys. The guy who won the 50/50 drawing gave it back. The money will be used to buy food. Ran up with some very old friends that i have not seen in years and enjoyed it very much. Carhartt coveralls and ball caps is the fashion. Amazing how about 30 rednecks can take the time to support a good cause. A couple of them was asking about the Tulsa run tomorrow so i guess were all riding up. Should be fun. Saved two toys for that run. All in all a very good day. Oh #ell forgot about the pictures was in bad shape this morning.
