NV Highway Patrol. I was doing 79 in a 55. I was wrong. He wrote me for the least he could. He really thought the R3 was cool. He had recently bought a CVO. Seemed like a really cool guy. I'm glad I don't have to do his job.

Wow what a company.
I spent a week riding around the bottom of Queensland a couple of weeks ago which would have been an absolute pleasure except .....
On Day 2 of 10 on the road my McCruise kept accelerating after I engaged it then after turning it off refused to work again.
That meant that I had to ride for 2500km using my hand and watching the speedo. I felt like a commoner ..... I mean, actually having to do menial work and not just enjoying the ride as the previous 60,000km had been since putting it on.
I rang Tony at Mc Cruise and he said to send the servo and electronics box down. He emailed me the instructions for taking off and securing so the bike could still be ridden.
I rang today and spoke with Frank ..... he had my items on the bench ..... plugged them in and tested whilst we spoke.
Result ..... Replacement servo (rebuilt) and updated software $125. It should be back in the post this afternoon.
I have to say that speaking to both these gentlemen was a positive and pleasurable experience. No gruff or airhead receptionist or disinterested boy, just the owners who were friendly and positive.
