I'm a bit confused here. So you weren't 'checking someone's oil' you were changing it. False advertisement!!The KTM 1290 SDGT was ready for fresh oil.
Man it was so hot in the garage I had to hold the funnel at arms length to keep sweat out... The fresh oil is already warm before run in.
