I hope this reaches you live in sunny california USA I have last ride was thru Death Valley up to shasta and came back down to Huntington beach perfect weather. My output bearing crumbled so apart came the engine and cleaning up the mess. Am almost done putting cases back together, hopfully by newyears. Just have some questions. But can not remember how to post a question.
I made it to 59 on 12-9 2013 and want one cross country ride.

I be 67 and just did an 11,500 mile ripper criss crossing the US coast to coast this past summer.
It was MUCH easier than expected and I would love to do it again!
I be no iron butter and took 6 weeks averaging 300+ miles a day.

Welcome back dave, to be so close to getting back in the saddle after a long illness. Getting old has its challenges. you do have a great bike to travel on and the people on this site have answered all of my questions with words I don't need to look up! In fact I bet someone would show me how to mount a snow plow to my rocket if I had the stones to use it. I click on forum then tech then click start new thread and begin with " Sorry if this has been asked before but..."
