anyone else do this? I seem to do it a lot, so much so that My rear tire is worn to the threads after 3500 miles. Its the stock metz tire. Its a bad habit I've picked up when doing fast downshifts, its kind of fun though.

and what is it that you are doing a clue would help?

Hmmm, i guess i just pull in the clutch, blip the throttle and let the clutch out. I think I am letting it out too quickly though.

Letting it out too quickly or blipping way too high. If you're only getting 3,500 miles out of your tire, you're doing something way wrong!

Well, I reckon I need to smooth out my shifting, i don't want to use car tires, and would like my tires to last a bit longer than 3500 miles!
Doing little burnouts here and there, probably hasn't helped my cause either
